How Information is Collected

User Provided Information:

In certain sections of this Site, we may invite you to contact us with questions or comments, provide us with feedback about the Site and/or services on the Site, participate in promotions and/or surveys, post content in wikis and/or on chat or message boards on the Site and/or complete a profile and/or registration form for a Vibio account. When you register for a Vibio account, you will be required to provide your name, email address, state, zip code and password.

In addition, if you submit a message to Vibio through the “Contact Us” for, you will be required to provide your name and e-mail address. You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Site, in which case Vibio may not be able to provide certain services to you.

Additionally, we may collect personally identifiable information about you from:

  • the Site log-in process;
  • your use of the Site, services and/or software on the Site;
  • communications between you and Vibio, whether initiated by you or Vibio, and whether via e-mail phone or in-person;

  • our third party affiliate or partner companies and from marketing or advertising companies that provide us with such information as a part of their relationship with us.

Cookies Information:

When you visit the Site, we may send one or more cookies - a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. The Site uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Site. Log File Information:

Clear GIFs Information:

When you use the Site, we may employ “clear GIFs” (a.k.a. Web beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of the user of our Site anonymously (i.e., in a non-personally-identifiable manner). In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.

How Information is Used

If you submit personally identifiable information to us through the Site, then we use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Site and services on the Site, register you to download our software or use our services, contact you to deliver certain services or information you have requested, verify your authority to enter our Site, provide you with notices regarding goods or services that you have purchased or may wish to purchase in the future, provide you with notices about other users of our Site, software and/or services that you may wish to contact.

User profile information, including users’ pictures and names, is displayed to other users of the Site in order to facilitate user interaction in the Vibio online community. E-mail addresses are used for the purposes of facilitating commerce such as notifications when offers are received, notifications to inform and prompt actions to be taken by both the buyer and seller throughout the transaction process, inviting new friends to join the Site, to add friends, to login to the Site and to send notifications related to the services on the Site. Once registered your full name will be revealed to other users to facilitate searching and finding other members and friends on the Site, Vibio allows users to search for other users by uniquely identifiable information including but not limited to, first name, last name, e-mail address.

We do not use your email address, or any other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages unless you have opted-in through the Vibio account registration form or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major Site changes or for customer service purposes).

We use both your personally identifiable information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of Vibio.com and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing User preferences and trends.

We use cookies, clear gifs, and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit Vibio.com; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.

When Vibio.com Discloses Information

We provide personally identifiable information and non-personally-identifiable information to our parent, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and other businesses or persons that are not within Vibio’s corporate family who may provide services to you or perform other services on our behalf and we require that these parties agree to handle any such personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We do not share your personally identifiable information with third party companies for their commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.

We do share non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the Site.

We may release personally identifiable information and/or non-personally-identifiable information if required to do so by law, or when we deem it appropriate or necessary to provide such information to law enforcement authorities.

Vibio also reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information and/or non-personally-identifiable information that Vibio deems appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against liability, to investigate, protect and defend the rights or property of Vibio, to protect the safety, security and integrity of our Site and to protect the personal safety of Vibio’s employees, agents, users or others.

Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy

In the event that Vibio is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how the information we have collected from our users is treated, transferred, or used.

Public Forums and Privacy Settings

You may also choose to disclose information, including personally identifiable information, about yourself in product wikis, comments, message boards and/or user “profiles” for public view or in similar forums on the Site (collectively, “Public Forums”). Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that notifications posted on the “Newsfeed”, “Style Profile” and “Like, Want, Have, Sell and Rep List” is a Public Forum and any information that is posted to a “Like, Want, Have, Sell and Rep List” is provided on non-proprietary and non-confidential basis and will be publicly viewable by all other users of the Site.

Therefore, please be sure that any information that you post in any Public Forum or designate as being accessible by the “public” or “contacts” is information that you are comfortable with sharing with others. You agree that there is no expectation of privacy or confidentiality with respect to any information you post in any Public Forum or designate as being accessible by the “public” or “contacts,” and we are not responsible, and assume no liability for, any uses or disclosures of personal information included in such information.

Unsubscribing from Newsletters

We will gather the email addresses of users who sign up for the Site for our newsletter mailing list. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by opting out of reviewing newsletters by the instructions on how to unsubscribe contained in each newsletter or by changing their preferences in their Vibio account page.

Children's Privacy

Vibio recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13, and Vibio does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

Data Security

Vibio may employ commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to help protect the security of your personal information. Vibio may use encryption, firewalls, password protection and secure socket layer to help prevent unauthorized access to your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the Site and you do so at your own risk. Third Party Advertising

The ads appearing on the Site are delivered by our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may use cookies. Doing this allows the ad network to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad networks may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Updating Your Information.

Vibio provides you with the ability to review and update any of the contact information that you provide to Vibio by logging into your Vibio account and editing your contact information.

Upon your written request, Vibio will delete the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us. To request deletion of your personally identifiable information, please contact us: support@vibio.com.
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you profile access or making corrections to or deleting your personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information at all times.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice may be revised periodically by Vibio, at its sole discretion, in whole or in part, at any time. Vibio will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by posting notice of the changes and the updated Privacy Policy on this page. Vibio may also send an e-mail to its registered users notifying them of any changes to the Privacy Policy. You shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such changes.
